In the Round Robin bee I am in, Corey asked for a wonky log cabin block. She asked for an asymmetrical center, and log cabin style strips sewn around concentrically. This is what I made:
I love the colors she has chosen. She asked that we pull the colors from the multicolored polka dot fabric she sent along. The colors are very summery and remind me of sherbet ice cream. Here is my block with hers:
I am looking forward to seeing this quilt when it has been set together. Corey isn’t sure whether she will put a sashing between these blocks, or whether she will just put them together for a riot of color. Either way it will be lots of fun.
